The Pepperl+Fuchs R-SP-E12 is a cabinet-mounted DIN rail fieldbus segment protector designed for PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1 intrinsically safe fieldbus segments in explosive hazardous process zones. This module splits the main trunk bus into 12 independent increased safety (Ex e) spur channels, each equipped with individual electronic short-circuit current limiting to isolate single device faults without collapsing the entire fieldbus segment.
